Since 2019 our roadside dog-and-pony show has been presenting seasonal eye-catching decor to encourage drivers to abide by the 25 MPH Tamal Road speed limit. We got our start with Slow Down For Love.
We happily join the cadre of outsider artists in defining a genre that has no truck with the conventions of the commercial art world with a nod to the aristocracy of roadside attractions: Cadillac Ranch standing along Route 66 west of Amarillo, Texas and the drive-though The Donut Hole in La Puente, California.
Although the scale of our presentation may be small by comparison, it still garners much attention and especially from Mochi, our up-the road-neighbor’s dog, who always takes a look and a sniff when walking with owners, Wally and Shirley. We appreciate their pics.
